SCORING:

(1) Phone and CW will be scored as separate contests. Digital contacts (RTTY, PSK31, etc) count as CW. Score each band separately.

(2) Five points is earned for each SMYL member worked on each band; Ten points is earned for each SMYL Officer worked on each band; One point is earned for each different YL station worked on each band; Add together the QSO points earned for each band.

(3) Multiply the number of QSOs by the total number of different CQ Zones worked. A multiplier is counted only once in each mode (ie SSB, CW).

LOGS: All logs must show your CQ Zone to qualify for awards. For each QSO, logs must show the station worked, RS(T) given and received, and the CQ Zone of the station worked, time, band, and date. If you have 200 or more QSOs, submit a separate log for each band and submit a “dupe” sheet. Remember to file separate logs for each contest. Logs must show claimed score. All logs go to the current SMYL Vice President and must be submitted within 30 days of contest ends. You can find a log for this contest HERE.
